APRN (www.aprn.org)The Alaska Public Radio Network (APRN) is Alaska’s only statewide
radio news organization. APRN’s compliment of news and information
programming is carried by each of the states 26 public radio stations.
Seven daily newscasts, including Alaska News Nightly, and the weekly
talk show, Talk of Alaska, reach an estimated 90,000 Alaskans each week. APRN’s programming is designed not just to inform but to build bridges between cultures and regions and to promote diversity, including a commitment to empowering and informing Alaska’s Native Peoples. APRN’s satellite delivery system also provides members with a vehicle for exchanging locally produced programs.
