After much fund raising, the Alaska Region of the Native American Fish & Wildlife Society is able to make it’s first scholarship awards. Three scholarships will be given to Alaskan native or American Indian college students interested in pursuing careers in natural sciences. Each grant will be $500, and will be awarded by September 15, 1997. Call the Alaska regional office (907-257-2720) for more information and an application form.
